Hired these folks for an inverter removal/replacement after my original installer (Solar Union) went out of business. 1) Pricing was fair and inline with my expectations. Some folks had the audacity to quote 3x more which seemed absolutely nuts given the straightforwardness of the project (I already had the replacement inverter from Solar Edge). 2) Vivian the project scheduler was also willing to help me figure out WHY I didn't receive notification of my inverter not producing (SolarEdge most likely notified my defunct installer). 3) The installers they sent, Danny and Lucio were absolute professionals and were able to get my system going back up. I would NOT hesistate at all in recommending this company for someone in need of solar repairs or even a new system. FWIW, I believe it helps the stability of THIS family run business that they have more than just solar installs as a revenue stream.

Durafoam did a fantastic job re-coating my Eichler roof with a 20 yr manufactures material warranty using industrial grade silicone. Great service, with a competitive reasonable price for my complex roof that has lots of water pipes, AC lines, electrical conduit lines, 17 large solar panels and 8 skylights with multiple other roof penetrations to work around! Top notch company with competent friendly workers. Highly recommend Durafoam.

Wednesday: Had a very informative discussion with Paul in the office re: my two minor drain leaks. Next Monday: Jessie and 2 experienced roofers drove up at 11:30am. Both leaks identified and fixed by noon! The time and materials billing was accurate and reasonable. My roof is ready for El Nino!

Roof was over 15years old with many layers of foam that had many huge bubbles. They had to tear down one section and renewed it and all the rest. I have never had a nicer, more skillful, congenial, group of workers do a job for me as these guys. The result was gorgeous and will last for a long, long time. I highly recommend them!!!

I had Durafoam recoat the flat roof on my Eichler home. Aside from a couple of weather related delays, this work was done in a timely fashion. Team cleaned up well after they were finished. Communication with office scheduling was good.

Dura-Foam contacted me last year, since my foam roof (which they installed around 1999) hadn't been re-coated in 21 years, inspected my roof, and offered this service. Perplexity (my favorite AI) evaluated their offer, and told me that the re-coating was needed and very useful for extending the life of the roof, that Dura-Foam was a respected provider of such services, and that their price was right in the middle of the ballpark. They did the work in April 2026, as promised; as far as I can tell, they did a fine job, efficiently, with minimal disruption of our property, and left no mess. They also let me pay in 3 installments, with no finance charge. I am completely satisfied, and will use them again (if I live that long).

Had our roof done in 2015, recoated as recommended in 2020. Just had them inspect it in 2026, and still going strong! Maybe a recoat in 2030-2035. But nothing needed now. 11 years on! Try to get that with tar and gravel! This company is one I trust. No upsells, no unneeded services pushed. When we had the original quote, Durofoam was the least expensive. When I asked why, they looked at the other quotes, and said “they are replacing all your metal caps. We are not, and we aren’t because they are all in great condition.” That sold me on them in addition with all the other reviews I read. In addition, the temperature in our home in summer easily dropped 10 degrees on those unusual hot days here in the city of San Francisco.

DuraFoam installed a new foam roof for us years ago. After 10+ years, it was time to get a re-coat. Dura-Foam employees were prompt and we made it through this winter without any problems. We hope to get another 9 or 10 years of “peace of mind”.

Writing this review about a year after Dura-Foam installed a new roof, solar panels, and whole home battery system for me. During the initial install, they were great to work with, showed up on time, and did the work they quoted, and kept the price they promised. Very professional, high degree of caring about the customer experience. Fast forward a year -- a panel they installed for me stopped working, but it was not covered by manufacturer's warranty. Dura-Foam stepped up and replaced the panel at no cost for either parts or labor, because they felt it was the right thing to do. This is a company with high integrity, and stands behind their services. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for either roofing or a top-notch solar / batter installer.
